Kyndal's Story

Meet Kyndal — our sweet, red-headed, determined 9-year-old girl who has spent most of her life showing us just how much strength can fit into one little body

When Kyndal was just a baby, an accident changed her life forever. Today, she lives with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and requires assistance with nearly every part of her daily life. She is nonverbal and unable to independently sit, stand, walk, or reposition herself.

But none of that stops Kyndal from being right in the middle of our family — and if you know our girl, you know that’s exactly where she belongs. ❤️

As Kyndal grows, so do her needs. We are constantly looking for adaptive equipment that can give her more comfort, support, and opportunities to participate in the everyday moments that make up family life.

This year, we chose a Freedom Concepts Chill-Out Chair: Rock’er for Kyndal.

The Chill-Out Chair: Rock’er is a specialized adaptive seating system that gives Kyndal the support and positioning her body needs while also allowing her to comfortably relax and lounge.

Think of it as Kyndal’s very own comfy chair.
