Earlier this year, we had the privilege of working with a little boy named Micah.

Every family has a different story.

Different challenges.

Different dreams.

But one thing is often the same.

Parents simply want their child to have the opportunity to participate more fully in everyday life.

That was true for Micah.

A Simple Goal

When Micah's family launched their MobilityFunder campaign, they weren't asking for something extravagant.

They were working toward equipment that would help him enjoy life alongside the people he loves most.

One sentence from their campaign has stayed with us ever since:

They wanted Micah to be able to ride alongside his brothers.

Sometimes the biggest goals are also the simplest.

To be included.

To participate.

To make memories together.

His Hive Came Together

When Micah's campaign went live, something wonderful happened.

Friends.

Family.

Coworkers.

Church members.

Neighbors.

People who cared about Micah shared the campaign and began contributing.

Just a few hours after launching, Micah's campaign was fully funded.

Watching that happen reminded us that communities can accomplish incredible things when they rally around someone they love.

Why It Worked

Every campaign is different, and there's no guaranteed formula for success.

But Micah's journey reflected many of the ideas we've shared throughout this Resource Center.

A clear goal.

An authentic story.

A family willing to share their journey.

A supportive community.

People who genuinely wanted to help.

That's what MobilityFunder is all about.

The Best Part Came Next

Reaching a fundraising goal is exciting.

But for us, that's never the finish line.

The real reward is knowing what comes next.

More adventures.

More family outings.

More independence.

More opportunities to participate.

Those are the moments that inspired MobilityFunder in the first place.

From the Tadpole Team

We'll always remember Micah's campaign—not because it was funded in just a few hours, but because it reminded us why we built MobilityFunder.

Every contribution represented someone who cared.

Every share helped tell his story.

Every act of kindness brought his family one step closer to their goal.

We hope Micah's journey reminds you that you don't have to do this alone.

Sometimes all it takes is giving your hive the opportunity to come together.

Hopefully, one day we'll be sharing your successful journey, too.
